About the Collection The historical Iranian city of Samarra lends its name to a collection celebrating the artistry of muqarnas, a feature with origins dating back to the 10th century in the country’s northeast, and significant in Islamic architecture to this day. Also referred to as honeycomb or stalactite vaulting, the astonishingly intricate fractal-like ornamentation is a symbolic representation of universal creation, and by extension the Creator. AS VERSATILE AS IT IS UNIQUE A long, lean racetrack of Deco style in antiqued pewter and patinated bonded porcelain, ideal for a dégustation line-up of artisanal liqueurs, or to corral writing instruments or make-up implements. THE SAVOY COLLECTION Jarrod Lim’s suave and versatile Savoy collection, an homage to the iconic Art Deco London hotel, is replete with sensual fluting, voluptuous forms and visual references to the Jazz Age penchant for luxury.
