I think these 1/2 oz Tungsten Drop Shot Weights are pretty good for lighter fishing rigs, especially in areas that are starting to use lead weight restrictions. I have read that a couple of states special areas are limiting the use of lead weights due to the environmental impact (for example I saw an article that said Mt. Rainier National Forest has some lead fishing tackle restrictions in its lakes), so these will be good to have for those situations, should they come up.Pros: * more environmentally friendly, and isn't made of lead (for lead weight restricted waters) * shape is super compact for storage * Tungsten is denser than lead so should be smaller for the same number of ounces according to what I've read * Ounces were painted on, but I also noticed an impression showing the ounces too (in case the paint gets scraped off?) so I can match the weight ounces to my rod specifications in the future.Cons: * Ounces were a little harder to read than I expected * Eyelets were a little bent over in shipping, but I found that easy to correctWishlist: a 3/4 oz tungsten weight packTungsten seems to come with a premium, so I am going to reserve these for fishing lead weight restricted waters.
