Our small pattern weights are a great tool to protect your expensive fabric scissors. Catching blades on pins can cause nicks or dulling to the blade. Pattern weights for cutting fabric eliminate this issue to give you stress free cutting.
All of our dress weights sewing aids are made with a tough, scratch resistant & waterproof print with a smooth finish. This makes them highly durable whilst also allowing you to easily slide them across your fabric patterns.
Pinning fabric and paper together can also distort the fabric and thus create messy work. By using pattern weights in sewing for cutting out, you allow the fabric to sit naturally flat underneath, creating a smooth professional finish.
Coming complete with a lovely case for display or storage, all of our fabric weights for pattern cutting have beautiful design created by our fantastic team of artists. Each individual weight is 48g. Also available in a larger 4 x 50mm size, for larger projects!
I wasn’t sure about using pattern weights, but I’m so glad I tried them. The time difference (not to mention avoiding pin sticks to fingers) is substantial. These pattern weights are beautifully designed and feel high-end. I’m about to order a second set for bigger patterns. The metal case is perfect for storage and fits nicely in a drawer or on a shelf. The plastic insert inside the case holds them verrry tightly. I use the end of a measuring spoon for easy removal.
